Together with Bayer, SpiessConsult has developed a concept for special corporate ads in opinion-forming media – for social or sporting events with a corresponding public response or to congratulate outstanding personalities. Occasions included, for example, the 90th birthday of Helmut Schmidt, the anniversary of Josef Cardinal Meisner, the 60th anniversary celebration of the founding of the Federal Republic of Germany and the beginning of a new phase in the sporting life of the Rhineland – the reopening of the BayArena in Leverkusen. The special advertisements are unusual but tailored to the personalities and occasions.

On special occasions in 2010, Bayer has taken the floor as part of the company in the form of special announcements. Depending on the occasion, different formats in the Bayer look were used. The range of tonality and media were as individual as the "birthday children" and ranged from distinguished to humorous.
