"LeaderShip": SpiessConsult initiates specialist event with WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management
Trainer Stefanie Voss with lecture on leadership and self-management on April 4 at 19.30 at WHU Campus Düsseldorf - Kellogg-WHU supports MBA Fastnet Challenge 2013.
"LEADER on my SHIP - Lead yourself, otherwise no one will follow you" is the title of Stefanie Voss's event and she knows that there is no better school for teamwork and leadership experience than sailing. A passion she shares with Ina Spiess, Managing Director of the communications consultancy SpiessConsult she founded. As a graduate of the Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA, she has been closely associated with WHU for many years and organized the Düsseldorf Regional Council from 2005 to 2011.
"Sailing - especially regatta sailing - teaches you a lot about yourself and working as a team," says Ina Spiess, "and Stefanie Voss knows what value such experiences can have for the management and success of companies. Since 2010, the two have been jointly supporting Bayer AG's global brand optimization process, among other things, as part of a large team from a variety of disciplines.
Voss is certain: "Clear self-management is an indispensable prerequisite for being a good manager". The owner of the consultancy Cutwater supports corporate communicators through coaching, moderation and training. During her circumnavigation Stefanie Voss experienced and learned to appreciate the most important principles of self guidance. She has successfully applied these principles for herself and others since her journey to Bayer AG, a major company in which she has played a leading role for many years.
Her lecture builds a bridge from the storm in the South Atlantic to change processes in organizations, from the hierarchy on board to the structure of a department. She speaks plain text and animates her listeners to control their own (professional) lives in a haunting and entertaining way.
